Daniel Teafoe

An outsider artist who works on the edge of the fringe.

Greetings. I am a multi-media artist based in Chicago, I specialize in lenticular imaging (it's 3D without the glasses). My subject matter varies greatly and my work is often guided by instinct and serendipity.

My lenticular photos and other remixed and remastered 2D images have been on exhibit in Washington DC at the Project for the Arts ('96 & '97). Gallery shows in Chicago and the surrounding towns included Campbell House ('02 & '03), Fermi Lab ('02), St. Charles Library/Artist of the Month (5.03), The Norris Center ('03), Metropolis Coffee Co. (Solo exhibits - U2/3D, 5.05 and It's Macrodelic, 10.06 - as a participant in Chicago Artists Month.) Other solo exhibits took place at the 3D Center of Art and Photography in Portland OR (5.07) and Rolling Stones/3D in the Chelsea Library in the Kings Road in London (8.07).

As a performance artist, I will present my monologue with music about the afterlife, called The Resurrected, in London at the Cockpit Theatre on 26, 27, and 28 February 2009.
